小樽と札幌での研究調査

10月から11月にかけて、企業による歴史的建造物の保存と活用の現状を知るため、小樽と札幌で現地調査を行った。小樽では、NPOや企業による古い町並みの保存や歴史的建造物の活用について学ぶセミナーに参加し、札幌では、ビール工場を再利用することで地域や観光資源を活性化させる価値創造について学んだ。

In October and November, I conducted on-site surveys in Otaru and Sapporo to learn about the current situation of preservation and utilization of historical buildings. In Otaru, I participated in a course to learn about the preservation of old townscapes and the utilization of historical buildings by NPOs and businesses. In Sapporo, I learned about the value creation brought about by the reuse of a beer brewery which revitalizes the community and tourism resources.
